  Had colonoscopy 2 years ago. Last time I had any contact with this doctor until this week. Went to my regular gp and did some tests and was advised to see my gastroenterologist again. Received a call today to schedule an appointment. The girl in office told me Aug. 28, 2015. Then she advised me that I had an outstanding balance from 2013 for my copay. Two years later???
  I said that was strange as I never received a bill, so I said okay send me a bill and I will take care of it. The girl then advises me that if I can take care of this today the Dr.(and I use this term loosely) would be able to see me tomorrow. Oh really. How convenient. I said don't bother to schedule the appointment, I will not be coming back to this office if it takes me paying a bill I had never received to get to see this doctor sooner. I guess money takes precedent to a patients health care.
