  I was charged a $15 upgrade fee without even knowing. I was told that I would only have to pay $10 for a sim card, when I go to pay for the service I was not advised ahead of time that there was a $15 charge for placing my information onto a new sim card for my unlocked phone, I was told when it was time to swipe my card and the transfer was already done. I would excuse mistakes, however this is not a newbie mistake. I called to do the same thing to my husbands phone, I was not charged for an upgrade. IT IS A FREE SERVICE you can do over the phone with customer service.... This is a authorized dealer and they have there own fees, that's fine. However I would most definitely verify my options before I go in to one of these stores. 1888 Customer service and them have little connection.
