  I have suffered with a hearing loss for over 3 decades and had been under the care of 4 audiologists before seeing Joe Mutter. I've been told my loss is unusual and was convinced after years of failure that I would need to accept my disability. The hearing aids prescribed over the years offered minor improvement at the cost of seemingly endless adjustments that did little. My former audiologist programmed the Starkey aids I currently use. Several attempts to program them did little to make them truly usable. When I met Joe, his positive attitude gave me reason to hope. He diagnosed my loss and suggested a solution. After one visit to re-program my Starkey aids and new earpieces, I was able to hear conversation in quiet settings that I have not heard for years. And in less than ideal settings I am actually hearing a good portion of the discussion. I recommend Joe and his terrific staff without hesitation. No one has been able to do for me after years of trial and error what Joe has done in just a few weeks. I am hopeful that Joe will make even more improvements as I work with him in the coming weeks.
